David Letterman Highlights featuring the Foo Fighters performing Everlong.

This past Wednesday the man that should have hosted the Tonight show retired from his own show the Late Show with David Letterman. His last show had many celebrities stop by to do a top ten list and then it was Dave talking saying goodbye and turning things over to the Foo Fighters.
I remember when Johnny Carson retired and it was so sad it made me cry. When David Letterman did Wednesday, I felt relieved for him somehow. He went out his way, on his terms. Thank you David Letterman for 30 years of entertainment we will never forget.

This isn’t the spring I am looking for. Dangers in my bran muffin. Can you say law suit neighbor? #yuck! #leosbakery.com
So our News Stand at work sells muffins and I get a bran one this am. The only problem is that there is a metal spring in mine that I almost choke on. I tell the News Stand owner and they refer me to Angela at Georges Bakery in Medford MA aka georgesbakery.com.
I speak with Angela and she explains that they are a distributor only and that all the muffins are baked at Leosbakery.com in Boston, MA and gives me her account managers name and email address. Her accountmanagers name is Zeena.
Zeena calls and mentioned that a muffin scooper may be to blame and that it has a spring like the one baked in the muffin that I all-most choked on. She also asked for my contact info. This whole episode has made me sick.

In a time when real news is sometimes scarce and credibility is scarcer, (Insert frowny face of NBC Anchor Brian Williams) Jon Stewart announced last night to an unsuspecting world that he will be stepping down at the Daily show at the end of his contract in 2015. Details are still needing to be worked out but this is finally it. His departure leaves a huge void both in Comedy Centrals late night lineup but also in the hearts of Millennials who have relied on Jon Stewart and his humor to keep them informed in an otherwise cynical world. Who, what, when, how, why, now Jon Stewart? It was thought that after Jon Stewart went off and directed a movie that he might want to do “other things” and nobody can fault his wanderlust after 17 years. Jon Stewart as you may recall got his start on MTV and replaced Craig Kilborn at the Daily show after Kilborn left to do 5 years at the late late late show. Wherever Jon Stewart lands I suspect it will be on the ground running…
