8 good things to give up for 2015!

Snowy pictures sent today from my Alma matter Northeastern University (CAMD), of course it was to inspire donation at this time of freezing temperatures and blizzard snow like conditions.. Well it is cold out today, but we are having a very mild new england winter. It has on;y snowed about 3 inches this fall/ winter. I’ll call this money grab attempt snow blinded fundraising.

With New Years eve upon us I would like to share a personal experience with you about drinking and driving. As you may know some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time on the way home after a “social session” out with friends. Well two days ago I was out for an evening with friends and had several cocktails followed by some rather nice red wine. Feeling jolly I still had the sense to know that I may be slightly over the limit. That’s when I did something that I’ve never done before – I took a cab home. Sure enough on the way home there was a police road block but since it was a cab they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident. This was a real surprise as I had never driven a Yellow cab before, I don’t know where I got it and now that it’s in my driveway I don’t know what to do with it !

Somedays I just feel like snoopy in a suit…

Merry Christmas to the ladies that shaped my world early on. My mother Sharon on the left and my grandmother Lindsay (Gram) on the right. This picture was taken in the early 90’s at the Mill Race Inn on State Street in Geneva, IL. I grew up there as a sprout ages 1-8. It was a very nice town and everyone knew Gram and Sherry.
I miss both of them this time of year and also at the beginning of football season. Mom was a packer backer and Gram was a “da bears” fan. Gram was born on December 22nd and Sherry was born on December 23rd.
I miss these ladies very much, but they are in my heart at christmas this and every year.
Merry Christmas Mom and Gram!

Murray Christmas 2014 and a Happy New Year!
