The Ubiquitous States of America.

Now that just about everyones social security number has been stolen either from this data breach or that one I think it’s time to do something drastic and relatively simple.

Scramble the deck, create new social security numbers and cards for everyone and at least pretend for a moment that the new numbers are secure. Perhaps we can even figure out a way to actually secure them in a card with a micro chip similar to maybe a smart card used by big business and government facilities.

I’m sure this isn’t a the most cost effective solution,  but would it not be cheaper than chasing down all the frauds and identify theft cases nationally?

We all need to think about it, but not for long. Identity theft occurs every 2 seconds after all.
